Rwanda Partners (RP) is a non-profit, fair trade organization committed to fighting poverty and restoring hope to the poor and marginalized in East Africa. Through projects in education and job creation, Rwanda Partners works toward the broader goal of healing and reconciliation among the Rwandan people and the greater region of East Africa.
Our emphasis
has been to train and equip the rural poor so they are able to benefit from the
opportunity of participating in local and global markets. Our artisans are
members of the world’s most vulnerable population, including widows, rural
weavers, genocide survivors, orphans, street children, former prostitutes, and
rural farmers.
